Bio

Nederlands

English

bruusk. is a young jazz ensemble from Ghent, eager to make its mark on the scene. Their sound is a jazz-infused blend of funk, Latin, afrobeat, hip-hop and drum 'n' bass (think Snarky Puppy or Ezra Collective, but with a twist of their own).

In 2025, they embarked on a residency with Oort vzw (OORTWOLK), where they developed a set of distinctive, high-energy and at times hypnotic original compositions. The result? They took home the Audience Award at Brussels Jazz Weekend 2026. In May, bruusk. will open the festival's big stage on the Place de la Bourse. Something to look out for!
