Ghanese born Blakkbird started to rap in the city of Accra-Kumasi. Living on the streets, he learned the hard way to pick up skills and gain respect.

At the age of sixteen he released his first album under the alias ‘Pelato’, together with local rappers ‘Destiny’ and ‘White Horror’.

After getting into too much struggle in his neighborhood, his mother decided to take him out of Africa to live with his family in Europe.

Living there, he spend most of his time at school writing songs, until he was forced to live on his own.

It was then when he met Jeroen "Trappist" Bernaers, a young producer and DJ.

Trappist decided to tag along for some gigs and eventually becomes the rapper’s main beat provider. Now Blakkbird is back on fire and going for the top.

Life is all or nothing.
