Robin Vandersmissen (BigDiwa) born in Hasselt in 1985, was educated as a visual artist. A Hip-Hop middle child bridging 2 generations in the culture. Having studied everyone from Big Daddy Kane to Wu-Tang Clan to MF Doom to Denzel Curry.

He can tell a story in both English and Dutch, while offering a unique perspective, adressing various topics in the struggles and joys of everyday life. Puzzeling together syllables to create fast, technical and intricate, hypnotizing flows with a laid back yet aggressive delivery.

Started producing beats six months after he started rapping in January 2018, created his fist music video in 2019. His go-to production style consists of experimental, usually dark melodies, fast and bouncy drums and snares like gunshots but is not at all limited by this format.
