The music of Bel Dub Labs had its roots in the small town of Bel, part of the city of Geel, Belgium.

Which happens to be the location for one of the oldest and best Reggae festivals in the world, @Reggae Geel

The music of Bel Dub Labs is inspired by the festival. By the music played there, the people, the culture. But especially by the music played on the camp sites. There was a tradition of people bringing their own sound systems, blasting out DUB music.
