Sinds 2011 heeft Wesley Van Moortel (B C-Rious) een grote verandering doorgevoerd met betrekking tot zijn artiestennaam. Hij heeft jaren gedraaid onder de naam Dj B!cky. Toen hij 18 jaar was, is de tv-zender TMF komen filmen voor DJ’s @home. Kort na de uitzending kreeg hij de aanvraag om te draaien in BBC te Sint-Niklaas.

Ondertussen heeft hij reeds in tal van grote clubs gedraaid zoals Noxx, Versuz, La Rocca, Cherry Moon, Club Industria, Illusion en nog veel meer, alsook op festivals zoals Beachland en Sunset Festival was B C-Rious van de partij.

Zelfs internationale sets zijn al aan de orde geweest voornamelijk in Lloret de Mar in discotheek St’ Trop, Aztek en de Box. Dit succes wil hij in de toekomst verder zetten. B C-Rious weet een geweldige sound te creëren door een diversiteit aan muziekstijlen te hanteren onder andere retro, (dirty) house, commercieel, club, dance,…

Wesley Van Moortel introduced since 2011 a big chance about his artistname. He played for years under the name DJ B!cky, but it became B C-Rious. When he was 18 years old, TMF started a TV-program ‘DJ’s @ Home’ with him in the spotlight. Shortly after this broadcast he got the request to play a DJ-set at the BBC in Sint-Niklaas. Meanwhile, he has already played in many big clubs like Noxx, Versuz, La Rocca, Cherry Moon, Club Industria, Illusion and many more. Festivals such as Beachland and Sunset Festival also belonged to his DJ-carreer. Even international sets can be added to his experience, especially in Lloret de Mar in discotheques named St’ Trop, Aztek and Box. He also released a few tracks at Rewind Records better known as ‘Raise your hands up!’, ‘We are the night’, ‘Evora’ and ‘Take control’. Continuing all of this success became one of B C-Rious biggest dreams.

B C-Rious knows how to create a great sound by using a variety of all music styles including Retro, 90’s, Dirty House, Deep House, Commercial, Club, Dance, and every other allround music. Listen on SoundCloudto various DJ-sets that shows you more about everything he’s able to.

B C-Rious express his love for music with a massive energy during his performances. This energy he manages to convey to the public what makes a great atmosphere. The purpose of music is trying to make people come together with their emotions, what they might be on that particular moment of listening. This makes music the most enjoying hobby one can practise.
