Basalt is a 21 year old dj, fresh from the Leuven scene. Starting out as a house dj at local parties, he soon discovered a wider range of genres. Together with his collection his sets got a lot more diversified, expanding to more experimental progressive dance music with lots of percussion and breaky stuff. Basalt wants to offer you a dancefloor where you can lose yourself in the moment whilst discovering a rich variety of genres. Expect hard, as well as funky drums, mind conquering bass lines, but also sunny afrobeat and playful house guiding your dance moves. His dj-sets will have. You dancing to some exquisite percussion one moment, while diving into some dancefloor euphoria trough some deep cut vocal samples the next. Get ready to go on a trip with a dj that likes to explore the boundaries of progressive music and your mind at the same time.

Besides being a DJ he also organises multiple events. As a resident of Fabrik Leuven and Affair he takes care of curating the line-up there.
