A long time ago somewhere in the South of the Netherlands, Rob and the Kowalski-brothers formed a band in their parent’s basement. After several years Paul and Said joined the band, and together they found the perfect ingredients for a new sound: Barosz was born. They describe their music as “Austrian alternative poprock, with a little Moroccan swag on a bed of Polish indie, driven by synths”.

Barosz released their first untitled EP in 2017. It was produced by Martijn Vaassen (Parallel Sound) and mastered by Darius van Helfteren (Amsterdam Mastering). ‘Red Moon’ is their second EP, released in March 2021. This EP was produced by Ingo Jetten (Trashed Attic Audio) and mastered by Steve Kitch (Steve Kitch Mastering, UK).

Barosz consists of Paul Janssen (vocals and synths), Said Ait Abbou (guitar), Servé Kowalski (guitar), Rob Hetterscheid (bass), and Florian Kowalski (drums).
