Fossil Evolution biography Fossil Evolution is a Belgian band, started in 2013 by Arnold de Schepper, who served as bass player and singer for Isopoda in the 1970's. He started the band with his three sons, and the intention to add former Isopoda colleague Luc Vanhove on keyboards. Because Vanhove passed away, the band continued with Pieter De Groeve, a friend of one of Arnold's sons. After a bit over a year, in October 2014, the band introduced its debut album World In Motion to the world. Where Isopoda was known to some as the 'Belgian Genesis', Fossil Evolution combines the sound of the symphonic rock of the '70s with what was called Neo-prog in the 1980's, and adds rock and jazz influences where the band sees fit.
