Jengman is a Belgian pop artist with influences from alternative R&B, soul and jazz. He grew up in Antwerp in a home where music was always present. His father, a big fan of hip-hop and jazz, filled the house with sounds of Michael Jackson, D’Angelo, and Raphael Saadiq, artists who helped shape Jengman's feeling for rhythm, emotion, and storytelling. At the same time, he found peace and structure in football, a passion that stayed with him for years, even though he no longer plays.

The turning point came in 2011, when his father took him to see Usher live at the Sportpaleis. What started as a fun night out became a life-changing moment: one day, I want to stand on that stage. He began writing songs and covering other artists, slowly developing his own artistic vision. In 2018, he entered a studio for the first time. It took time to find his sound, but never his direction; he always knew how he wanted to sound: emotional, modern, soulful, and real.

Jengman's music is a mix of alt-R&B, pop, soul, and cinematic production. He writes about love, loss, doubt, desire, ambition, and everything in between. Stories based on his own experiences. His songs are the result of ambition, perseverance, and a deep love for music. With his soft voice, he tames big, powerful beats ready to touch hearts all over the world.

As an artist, he's aware of how fast the music world is changing. He uses social media to share his sound, but live performance remains his true connection to people. That mix has already brought him beautiful moments, like opening for British artist Bawo at the iconic Ancienne Belgique in Brussels and reaching the final of the Soundtrack Voor Artiesten competition.

Jengman creates his full artistic world himself. He writes, co-produces, and directs all his visuals from cover art to music videos and campaigns. This creative independence is a key part of who he is.

For Jengman, this is only the beginning. He's ready to grow, travel, connect and most of all, move people with every word, every note, every show.
