Bio

Zwartalder blends the melancholy of black metal, sludge riffs and contemplative clean sections to bring music where words often fail.

Founded in 2023, the band released its debut Bovenhuids Doven in May 2026. The double EP deals with themes of introspection and self-reflection. Zwartalder has performed live extensively over the last years, playing with bands such as Divided, PVRS, Throne and Verval.
