I’m a DJ/producer based in Leuven, originally from North Africa. Growing up in the 90s, I was immersed in a mix of global cultures—Brazilian and Mexican soap operas, Japanese anime, American movies, African rhythms, European pop, and timeless rap music.

My sound blends the groove and bounce of house with the melancholic, gritty edges of techno.

The name Zakary comes from Yakari, my favorite childhood comic. I’ve always felt connected to him—we even look alike. His spirit of freedom, nature, and compassion lives through my music.

I’m currently a resident at Café Apero and working on a batch of hard house tracks for summer, inspired by ‘80s funk classics like Fresh by Kool & The Gang—raw, funky, and made to move.
