The Mistress of Jersey is een tribute band uit Gent,

Opgericht om de hoogdagen van The Sisters of Mercy terug tot leven te brengen. Ze spelen het beste van de Sisters, van het begin tot de release van de iconische plaat ‘First and Last and Always’ en de split van de band in “85, en dit in de stijl van de optredens van 1984-1985. Denk aan de ‘Black October ‘ en ‘Tune in, turn on, burn out’ tournees, en je weet wat je kan verwachten.

De Sisters van weleer zijn niet meer, maar de sound van toen doet nog steeds vele harten sneller slaan.

The Mistress of Jersey’ is a tribute band from Ghent, Belgium, that was founded to revive the heydays of The Sisters of Mercy. They play the best of the Sisters, from the beginning until the release of the iconic LP ‘First and Last and Always’ and the split of the band in ‘85, and do this in the style of the live performances of 1984-1985. Think of the ‘Black October ‘ and ‘Tune in, turn on, burn out’ tours, and you know what to expect.

The Sisters from back then no longer exist, but the sound from those days still makes many hearts beat faster.
