The Bernadette Maries is a band from Brussels, established in 2024, featuring Daria (Lavender Witch), Guy (ex Siamese Queens/Animal Youth), Romain Rouserez (Garance Midi), and David (Landrose/Cere).

Their sound merges post-punk energy, shoegaze’s dreamy textures, and indie rock hooks.

Their music captures contemporary life and existentialism with immersive soundscapes and emotive compositions. Their first song, "Dream Place," was released in September 2024, followed by "Nouvelle Vague." Around the same time, they played in Belgium and France, opening for bands such as Bodega, English Teacher, and Ditz.

"LvvV" the band’s debut EP launched on February 14, 2025.

Continuing to evolve, The Bernadette Maries shape their musical journey with each release and performance. They are eager to bring their music to the stage, defend their EP live, and connect with new audiences along the way.

Influences include Blur, Sinead O'Connor, Fontaines D.C., King Krule, The Clash, Death In Vegas, Deftones, and Slowdive, to name only a few.
