A Jay Called P is the singer songwriter project of Pieter-Jan Slechten. Using different languages and genres to create interesting songs. Project started in April of 2023 when Pieter-Jan wanted to record his song ideas. Soon afterwards a music video was shot by Damy Mak and Eugenie Wong. Together with Eline Hendriks as pupeteer, backing vocals singer and creative cooperator the project took its first steps. For live shows Pieter-Jan currently performs solo using a acoustic guitar and his voice.
