I'm a musician originating from 'het Meetjesland' who started studying classical guitar at the age of nine at the music academy of my birth town. In my teenage years I grew fond of extreme metal music and hardcore punk so I picked up electric guitar as well and started to experiment in underground bands. After graduating from the academy and beside band projects I didn't play much guitar up until my mid-twenties, which was when I discovered the art of flamenco guitar. From that moment, I started composing pieces for flamenco and classical guitar. Recent years however, I took up classical piano courses and have been dedicating most of my time learning a second instrument as a enrichment of my songwriting practice. Finally I picked up electric guitar again too and would like to produce metal/post-rock oriented songs somewhere in the future.
