Lucas B is the alias of Simon Lucas B Wydooghe, a DJ from West Flanders now based in Ghent. He has been DJing for four years, starting out with commercial sets at parties and clubs. That’s where he learned to read a crowd and keep a dancefloor moving.

In 2025 he made a clear switch: he left commercial music behind to focus fully on electronic music. His sets have two sides. The groovy side covers house, deep house, funky house, jackin house, tech house and UK garage. The high-energy side brings trance, bounce, hard dance and bass house. He likes to build a night step by step, from a warm, groovy opening to a peak that hits hard.

Alongside his studies in Applied Computer Science at HOGENT, he is building his place in Ghent’s electronic scene, while still playing regularly in his home region at venues such as Club A in Waregem. He has a soft spot for UK garage, a sound rarely heard in Ghent, and dreams of bringing it to the city with a night of his own.
