Spies (Warre Spiessens) is a Ghent-based DJ with West Flemish roots, driven by one thing above all: making people sweat and dance. His sets move through soulful and jazzy house, disco, classic & NY house, hip house, funk and Brazilian-tinged grooves, carried by percussion, diva vocals and deep groove.

Rather than chasing fast trends, Spies builds warm, physical dancefloors where music is allowed to breathe and surprise. Eclectic in selection but focused in flow, from intimate, groove-led journeys to more club-driven moments when the night calls for it. He plays for those who want to listen, discover and, above all, keep moving.

A resident with Groovy Collective in Ghent, Spies is a regular presence across the city’s club circuit, including venues such as Amigo, Charlatan and Giraf. Beyond the club context, he has brought his sound to house-focused festivals like Soulful Sessions, Curfew and od’us, where musical depth and dancefloor energy go hand in hand.

Most at home in longer sets and intimate rooms, Spies treats each performan-ce as a journey rather than a sequence of tracks. His approach is shaped by artists who balance versatility with feeling. Figures such as Danilo Plessow, An-tal, Mendel and Ron Trent blending warmth, groove and freedom of selection without losing sight of the floor.
