Roiss emerged from the isolation and intensity of the summer of 2020. What began as raw, DIY demos exchanged between two restless friends slowly evolved into a dynamic five-piece band. Rooted in the dark urgency of post-punk yet infused with a modern edge, Roiss creates music that channels the tension of a world in flux.

Rather than rushing to polish or package their sound, Roiss chose to incubate. Through long rehearsal nights, lineup shifts, and countless rewrites, the band honed a musical identity rooted in the angular tension of post-punk but pushed forward by a distinctly modern sensibility. The result is a sound that doesn’t aim to revive a genre, but to inhabit its emotional core, music that is lean, driven, and wired with a quiet intensity.
