Pulse.ar is a Belgian techno duo formed by two producers with a shared taste for groove and energy. Their tracks and sets blend (fast-paced) techno with original sound design, percussion, and groove.

The project began organically when the two artists, CMPLEX, with a background in IDM and electronica, and V.A.RR, known for his raw industrial techno, joined forces in the studio. What started as a series of casual collaborations quickly evolved into a fully formed project. Together, they create hybrid DJ sets that blend percussion, textures, and a sense of narrative progression tailored to the space and time in which they're playing.

Pulse.ar’s music reflects their dual identities: groovy and layered, often with subtle undertones and gritty textures that nod to their respective solo projects. Their performances are instinctive, always responding to the room, and aimed at shaping energy with patience and intention rather than chasing peaks.

Recent highlights include a release on Antwerp’s Nachtlawaai label, self-released tracks, and more music and performances lined up.
