Peter Plum has been reading Belgian dancefloors since the late nineties.

Between 1998 and 2006, Thursday meant one thing: release day, and a trip to the record shop to find out what had landed. You didn't scroll for tracks then, you hunted for them. That habit built an instinct that never left. A set has a shape, and every record gets picked for where it sits in it.

The instinct got noticed early. Second place at the Club System / Top Radio DJ Contest in 2001, then House Torhout, Minus One at Creamm in Beveren, and Go Hard Or Go Home in the Cherry Moon. Across 2012 and 2013 he played five nights at Club Montreal in Leuven for GoVinylOrGoHome and I Love Vinyl.

Since 2016 he has played as aresident DJ of Retro Punt in Perk (Steenokkerzeel). Eight of them, vinyl only, and counting. In 2023 he recorded The Mix Lounge for Versuz Radio by TOP, and in 2024 he played Girls Like DJ's at Carré in Willebroek.

The sets bridge eras on purpose. House, Tech house and Afro house, with 2000s and 2010s records from the same styles woven through: something that still moves a floor, next to a release from last month, next to something hypnotic and Afro. He plays CDJs and he still plays Technics. The vinyl isn't a gimmick, it's most of his booking history.
