Bio

Pear Tree is a promising and young alternative-indie band that blends elements of dreampop, jazz, electronica, rock, and psychedelia.

The band started as a Leuven-based music project between Joanne (vocals and guitar) and Kai (keys). Joanne is originally from Thailand but started studying in Belgium. She made it to the battle rounds of The Voice Kids Thailand in 2017. After Cédric (drums) and Imte (bass) joined, Pear Tree became a full band.

Inspired by artists and bands like The Marías, Men I Trust, Mac DeMarco, Khruangbin, Cocteau Twins, and King Krule, they have played on stages like Het Depot, Flagey, STUK and they were featured on the single "Lights! Pt.2" by Porcelain Id alongside EVERYTHING IS VOCALS and TJE.
