Bio

Orajamas Company (FLUGI duo) uses music and circus techniques to create socially and politically engaged theater. This art form has an interactive and performative impact on the audience, as we learned during our initial creation experiments. "Acrobats and jugglers willingly let the music anchor their performance in an atmosphere, in a landscape, to give it character, even depth. But the idea here would be that everyone, circus artist or musician, plays a major role, that the gestures intertwine with the musical score, that the rhythm transforms and disrupts each discipline. Because through their dissonances, the playing field is the same for everyone: that of feeling, virtuosity, and emotion," describes Sabrina Lefrançois

ARE WE REALLY FREE?

Fleeing the echos of alert cries,

Captives within a beguiling paradise,

Where the silence roars its war,

Soft abyss with withered dreams,

Bounded by chains of our own inception,

Chasing shadows’ light momentum,

To ignite the brilliance of the consuming dark,

At night especially, it is beautiful to believe in light. The fugitive's flight. We fight to fly above our prisons, chasing the ghost of our freedom.

FLUGI has been developed and performed in collaboration with the audiences from street art festivals. This exploration has a strong interactive impact on the audience. From 2026, the FLUGI project awarded the grant FONCA (Mexico's National Fund for Culture and the Arts) and was selected for the JEUNESSE MUSICALES tour 26/27.
