Niko Hoke has been spending time behind the decks since he was 13 years old, but it is

after graduating from kinesitherapy school that he realised what his true ambition was. Djing

was in fact not a hobby but a passion and a goal. He took a year off, focused on launching his

dj career and created opportunities for himself.

He likes his music to be a subtle fusion of different styles and influences, to make it unique and

catchy. At the heart of hardgroove, he draws his inspiration from the remarkable technical

mastery of Funk Assault, while exploring funky, melodic sounds, often with a Latin vibe in the

style of West Code, Alec Dienaar and Dj Swisherman. That's where his distinctive groove comes

from.

Nikoke also loves combining groovy kicks with more trance-like kicks and melodies.
