Dansende Beren: "De vijf jonge muzikanten lieten het tempo geen moment zakken en weten duidelijk wat ze doen. Mixed Waste brengt pure, ongefilterde rockenergie dat vooral gedragen wordt door een frontman met overdonderende podiumgoesting en een drummer die alles strak vooruitduwt. De zanger beperkte zich niet tot het podium, maar dook ook de zaal in en zette zo moeiteloos de eerste moshpit in gang. Afsluiten deed hij al crowdsurfend, alsof er nog niet genoeg chaos was geweest. Mixed Waste bevestigde zich zo als een rauwe, energieke act met duidelijk veel potentieel."

Sound Track jury: "Mixed Waste blies de zaal omver met een harde, energieke en overtuigende show. Zo jong en al zo goed: dit voelt heel beloftevol. In amper twintig minuten brachten ze echt een volledige show, met een sterk begin en een krachtig einde. De variatie tussen de songs hield het spannend en toch klopte de set als geheel. Vooral Push sprong eruit als een straf nummer. Dit is duidelijk een liveband in hart en nieren, die hun energie en creativiteit volop kwijt kan op het podium."

Turn Up The Volume: "He immediately takes over and leads the noisy troops until the roasting end. He moves, jumps left and right, gets eye to eye with the fired-up audience a couple of times, and screams his lungs out, while rip-roaring riffs fly all over the place. His juvenile confidence and witty arrogance are off the charts. His demons don’t stand any chance to win the fight."
