Michael is the main guitar player of dutch Epic Folk Metal band 'Vanaheim'. The band plays bombastic symphonic folk-influenced metal with some modern touches. Michael is mainly inspired by guitar players like Michael Romeo, Yngwie Malmsteen, Ritchie Blackmore, Adrian Smith and Alexi Laiho. Michael's playing style is very much Rhythm based with the occasional lead thrown in.
