Mahour is an independent Iranian singer-songwriter based in Belgium, blending Persian poetry with pop/rock, flamenco, and electronic elements. Beginning his journey in Tehran through singles and intimate gigs, he later formed the band Me, Moon, and You, touring across Europe from 2018 to 2021. Since the 2022 “Woman, Life, Freedom” movement, his work has become closely tied to political and social issues in Iran and the Middle East, reflecting themes of resistance, freedom, and human rights. He regularly shares raw home recordings on Instagram @mahoor.gigs.
