Magazines is een punchy post-punk trio uit Antwerpen met een onstuitbare drang om alels kapot te spelen, van zweterige clubs tot grote festivalpodia.

Met een high-energy sound vol attitude grijpen ze terug naar het jeugdige gevoel van vrijheid dat ooit verscholen zat in cd’s, strips en magazines; een vorm van escapisme waar alles mogelijk leek.

Hun songs kijken niet alleen achterom, maar stuwen juist vooruit. Het resultaat: compromisloze en rauwe anthems die tot in de kern raken.

De band speelde onder andere Suikerrock, Zwarte Cross, een uitverkocht Paradiso & grote Vlaamse popzalen (als voorprogramma van Pommelien Thijs) volledig plat én ze tourden door de UK en Azië.

Hun nieuwste single 'Hollywood_' werd met veel lovende recensies ontvangen en stond o.a. op #1 in de IndieXL Charts én was KINK XL (Song van de Week) op de grootste rock en alternative radiozender van Nederland: KINK.
