Lucy Evens is a singer-songwriter from Ghent, Belgium, known for her raw and straightforward sound. Growing up without digital distractions, she developed a unique, old-school approach to music, using just her guitar and rhythmic voice to write and express her songs.

Originally trained as a harpist, Lucy discovered her passion for singing at seventeen. She left school to pursue music, and developed her own style performing in small venues.

After a disappointing stay in London, hoping to study music, she had to return to Ghent, realising that her path might be of her own making.

With even more dedication than before, she is now recording her debut EP with her new band, aiming for a live, unfiltered feel.

Inspired by icons like Erykah Badu, Lauryn Hill, Amy Winehouse, and Michael Jackson, Lucy brings her own vibe. She’s ready to bring her voice to the world, with music that is unpolished, honest and straight from the soul.
