The story of Lizard People is otherworldly and starts in 2020 when Alex Rozka and Pim Smits decide to form a rock group. Because at that moment a virus puts the whole world "on hold". The boys decide to record their own songs and distribute them online as totally independent artists. Which means we build a mini ecosystem. We write, record, produce and distribute our own music without a major label. Lizard People like to have control, not to be controlled. Under the motto "stay connected" they build a fanbase all over the world in a short time and score a deal to have a song mastered by the New York "Little Cheddar Studios'.

In 2023, the band will call on drummer Leendert Gerlings. He adds a new dimension to the parallel universe in which Lizard People currently finds itself. The band aims to release its first album in 2025. The group's self-made songs are about extraterrestrial life and about life on Earth. They have already received reactions to their music from stars such as The Offspring, Wheatus and The Juliana Theory!
