La Groovista is a group of six percussionists who share their energy, their madness and their joy.

This passionate band of singers and drummers composes and draws inspiration mainly from Afro-Cuban, Brazilian, Beninese, Latin and Creole cultures. They convey the beauty of an intense musical heritage and embody a determined feminism.

Through their personal arrangements, they appropriate the trance rhythms usually played by men, blending tradition and innovation for a subtle and powerful result.

La Groovista is a walking firework display thanks to its character and presence: strass, extatic, jubilation.

Their goal? To awaken the groove within you! Get ready to be swept away, because La Groovista will have you swaying!
