LUX SYMMETRY is a composer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist based in Belgium.

Describing her compositional and production style as “maximal minimalist” she creates genre-crossing landscapes and pulsing tracks that would be equally at home in the early hours of a darkened night club as they would in a concert hall.

Born in the UK, with British-Cypriot heritage, LUX studied Violin, Saxophone and Keyboards from childhood before earning a degree in Music Composition at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music in London.

Inspired at a young age by the late composer John Cage, she became fascinated by noise in general, rather than just those ordered into structure. Her musical influences are a varied spectrum of contemporary-classical, post-rock, ambient, industrial, and techno.
