Bio

Kin Gajo combines groove-based jazz and instrumental hiphop, experimenting in their unusual formation. This trio, consisting of saxophone, accordion and drums, is characterized by their infectious rhythms and catchy melodies. Think 'Flying Lotus' meets 'Sons Of Kemet'.

In September 2023, Kin Gajo was selected for Brussels Jazz Alert of the month. In October, their first EP, "Āku アーク", was released on WERF Records.

In May 2024 they were part of "Lefto Presents Jazz Cats Vol 3", a selection by Lefto Early Bird from the flourishing Belgian jazz scene. The vinyl was released on Sdban Records.
