Kāstaar is a DJ from Leuven, Belgium whose passion for music started at an early age. Music has always been a central part of his life—his father has been involved with music for as long as he can remember and passed that passion on to both him and his brother. Growing up in an environment where music was always present shaped the way he experiences sound, creativity, and connection today.

He started his DJ journey on a DDJ-400 and recently upgraded to an XDJ-XZ. For him, DJing is more than simply playing tracks; it is a genuine passion that brings energy, purpose, and fulfillment. Through his sets, he aims to create unforgettable experiences, bring people together, and make every night one to remember.

His sound is rooted in UK House, Hard House, and Garage. While always adapting to the energy of the crowd, he enjoys introducing audiences to fresh sounds and genres, creating a balance between familiarity and discovery. Rather than limiting himself to a single genre, he focuses on selecting the right tracks for the right moment, building sets that evolve naturally and take listeners on a journey from start to finish.

A dedicated music digger, he is constantly searching for underground records, emerging artists, and overlooked gems that deserve a place on the dancefloor. His goal is not only to make people dance, but also to surprise them with sounds they may never have heard before.

His sets are driven by groove, energy, and flow, drawing inspiration from the UK underground scene while remaining open to influences from across the electronic spectrum. Whether warming up a room with deeper selections or raising the intensity later in the night, he focuses on reading the crowd and creating the right atmosphere for every moment.

As a Resident DJ at Café Apéro in Leuven, he has further developed his ability to connect with different crowds and create memorable nights through carefully selected music and an ever-evolving sound.

Recently, he began producing music as well, allowing him to further develop his own musical identity. Producing has become a natural extension of DJing, giving him the opportunity to transform the sounds and influences that inspire him into music of his own. His ambition is not only to play great music but also to create a distinctive sound and share it with audiences both on and off the dancefloor.

For him, a great dancefloor is built on energy, connection, and freedom—a place where people can switch off, live in the moment, and lose themselves in the music.
