Growing up in a small town in Belgium, Jonathan had no close by example in the music industry. Like most people in the early 2000's he grew up looking up to Micheal Jackson, Usher Chris Brown, ect. At a young age, Jonathan started dancing inspired by them.

Besides dancing it became clear that his passion for singing was something he wanted to pursue. Coming from big a musical house hold, Jonathan started recording music in his room at the age of 19, looking for a way to feed his needs to be an artist. When he became 21 he decided to take music serious, with the goal to make a living out of it.

When asked to describe his musical style, JoFario explains that it's a mix of his African roots and his love for R&B. The singer created his own unique style mixing different genres together. Through his words the artist tries to connect with people. In his lyrics you'll hear about love, heartbreak and healing.

JoFario's mission is to not only be heard locally but also globally. His aspiration is to make a great impact. This way he shows people that it doesn't matter where you grew up, if the passion is great enough you can make your dreams come true.
