Bio

J.D.T. (Jef De Dobbeleer Trio) is a modern jazz trio led by pianist Jef De Dobbeleer together with his conservatory friends: Anna Vanhoudenhoven on dubble-bass and Yasuhiro Vermeiren on drums.

Influenced by Esbjörn Svensson, Brad Mehldau and Keith Jarrett, J.D.T. performs original compositions together with modern jazz standards. At the crossroads of Nordic, modal and free jazz they lay a strong emphasis on storytelling, communication and expansion.
