J.RUNE is an Antwerp-based DJ and producer shaping melancholic euphoria into modern club energy. His sound merges trance nostalgia, emotional vocal textures and sharp rhythmic momentum, offering dancers a journey that moves between introspection and release. A PhD in Neuroscience, he treats music as a space where memory, emotion and embodiment converge. An approach that lends his sets their distinctive depth and sensitivity.

A lifelong raver, J.RUNE’s experience runs deep: from post-rock beginnings to years immersed in techno, IDM and the evolving rave landscape. His performances reflect a belief in club culture as a form of communal healing. Recently, he has expanded into curation with his own concepts, WEEMOEDIG and NEXT OF KIN, both dedicated to exploring the emotional edges of electronic music.

When away from the booth, he sculpts science-inspired artworks, a meditative counterpoint to music that reveals the same interplay of precision, emotion and curiosity.
