Gentle Orbit originated in Gent among friends and slowly grew to a full 5-piece band.

Nick (ex-The 925 & Friends of Paul) already knew Marc (Friends of Paul, Darling Daisy, Les Primitifs Flamands) and Stijn and decided to start a new project together. Jesse (If Anything Happens To The Cat) joined in quickly after that to fill in the position at the drums. Songs grew rehearsal after rehearsal and a lot of new material was born.

At that time, the need for female vocals became obvious and after a long search, Stefanie came in with her smooth high-pitched vocals.

In 2026 the first singles will be born and the future orbit of this band will be decided by the universe.
