Bio

"There are few times, as a writer, that you’re genuinely wowed. As you get older the ‘wows’ are fewer and farther betwixt, but when Gender Reveal Atomic Bomb landed on my ‘desk’ my scepticism turned to unbridled joy within 90 seconds...They’re young, raw and have enough attitude and talent to elevate the topography of the Flemish region to a height exceeding Signal de Botrange (694m in case you’re interested)."

—Gareth Johnston, The Indie Grid (read the full review here)

Gender Reveal Atomic Bomb is a music project by siblings Beau Ramsey (bass, songwriting/lyrics, vocals, production) and Blaise Ramsey (vocals, lyrics, artwork). They perform live with Annabella Van Cappellen (additional vocals).

Beau and Blaise have been making music together since childhood, first in the US (where they were born) and later in Belgium, where they have lived since 2016.

GRAB sings about serious topics like gender, racism, and immigration, but the kids try not to take themselves too seriously. In the punk rock tradition, they aim to entertain and have fun with their fans while speaking out about the issues that impact their lives. Influences include Rage Against the Machine, Bikini Kill, Talking Heads, Opeth, Public Enemy, and Rush.

GRAB regularly performs at events and clubs and is looking for bookings in Belgium and beyond.
