From Testoezze to Ganges:

It all started in 2010 as a cooperation over the internet between Peter Coppens and Michel Declercq. We had to choose a temporary name for it so we called our project "TESTOEZZE". Pascal Dewijn and René Wijgh (NL) joined the project in the following few months.

Due to an unfortunate turn of destiny, Michel got ill shortly after and finally lost his struggle.

After a short break, we thought it would be a shame to leave the Testoezze songs floating around in a virtual world and so it was decided to form a real band which we called "GANGES" (based on one of our lyrics).

But we struggled for years to make the band complete. In the past years different musicians gave it a go. Our latest member and friend, Jan Vandevyvere, also suddenly passed away. That’s when we finally decided to continue as a three-member formation.

Currently the band consists of

- Peter Coppens: lead guitar, lead vocals, synths and samples (ex-Lunatix, Definitivos, The Mars Model)

- Pascal Dewijn: bass, lead vocals, synths, samples and visuals. (Boris ist verschwunden, El Casa Loco, First Bite Krabpf, De zangers, Les Sacs a Sacs, Hifidazzand)

- Henk Vancauwenberghe: drums

We just finished our first two studio-recordings which will go viral on the main streaming-platforms on the 4th of December 2024.

Other recordings are ongoing and will appear as they are being finished.
