Bio

Five musicians from different paths fuse their talents to create a mosaic of incredible instrumental music.

Having found each other in their hometown, the five members decided to portray a new kind of sound. Blending together their backgrounds in classical, jazz and world music, they pave the way to a refreshing new concept.

In 2017 Thomas, Gie, Lennert and Joris already had quite a lot of experience playing music together. They decided to start the project 'Quartet Thomastique'. After some years of playing, each of them went on their own individual musical paths. Some of these projects even went international and lead to France, Estonia, Malaysia, Germany, The Netherlands and Indonesia.

Recently fate, the desire to create music and a lot of creativity brought us back together. From our blend of experience and inspiration, the band Fusion Mosaic was born. We were joined by double-bass player Sarah to further improve our rythm section and help create our unique sound.

Our original creations can broadly be categorized as fusion. Our sound is influenced by '30 - '40 swing jazz, bebop and modern jazz as well as instrumental videogame soundtracks.
