Some Flies Rest is the songer-singwriting project characterized by its dreampop ballads & soft rock atmosphere. Shaped by Floris Smet.

Some Flies Rest was originally based in Het Waasland, but now operates out of Groningen, where he is studying production at the Conservatory.

Floris draws inspiration from a diverse group of artists, ranging from The Beatles to Jeff Buckley. You can hear their influence in his own style: honest, raw, and melodic.
