FROG! is a heavy instrumental band based in Mechelen and Brussels, Belgium.

The band is known for patiently building long, hypnotic compositions in which driving rhythms, repetitive grooves and explosive outbursts continuously feed into one another. Their earliest songs evolved over years of rehearsals and live performances, gradually taking shape until they captured the raw energy the band was searching for. That energy can be heard on their 2025 release, Live in Brussels: FROG!, a document of the band exactly as intended: loud, immersive and completely alive in the moment.

Their newer material, featured on their debut EP (release late ‘26), sees the band exploring a different approach. Challenging themselves to step outside their established formula, FROG! began writing shorter, more angular songs built around tighter structures and more defined arrangements.

Drawing on math and experimental rock in the vein of American Football and Moin, alongside shoegaze, slowcore and post-hardcore influence, with bands such as Shellac and Helmet among their reference points, FROG! are taking a more adventurous approach than ever before.

Their new single, 'It was It', is out now.
