Eliot Lia
Bio
I'm Samuel, but I make music as Eliot Lia. I'm 22 and from Belgium. Music has always been a big thing for me, along with storytelling and just the way sounds work. I started writing songs mostly to sort out my thoughts and feelings. It was kind of a way to deal with stuff inside. Over time, though, it turned into something more. Now it's how I really express myself and make sense of everything around me.
The genres I pull from are all over the place. Hip-hop, alt R&B, some indie, and even dark rap sometimes. I don't really stick to one style. What matters more to me is making lyrics that feel real, honest. I try to write things people can relate to, you know. A lot of my songs dig into love, faith, growing as a person. And those complicated parts of relationships between people. It's like taking what I notice in my own life, reflections and all that, and turning it into something creative. Maybe others hear it and think, yeah, that hits close.
I am not totally sure how to frame this part. Alongside the lyrics, I am getting into the technical side too. Sound production and design. I still have a ton to learn there. But it's interesting how you can shape a song's emotion just with the sounds themselves. That seems powerful.
My goal down the line is to keep building on this. Grow as a writer of words and as someone who creates the sounds. I want a collection of work that shows my experiences, the ideas I have, my curiosity about art. It might get messy along the way, but that's part of it I think. Personal growth in music, relationships, all tied together sort of.
