Een levendige muzikale dialoog tussen diatonische accordeon en viool, waarin originele composities versmelten met traditionele melodieën uit het Europese dansrepertoire. Anouk en Filippo zijn twee gerenommeerde muzikanten op de internationale balfolk-scene, met concerten en succesvolle projecten in heel Europa. In 2025 bundelden ze hun krachten in een fris en inspirerend duo dat het publiek al wist te betoveren, onder andere tijdens de editie van het Boombal Festival 2025 (België), en op verschillende balfolk-avonden in België (CaBal Balfolk Kortrijk, Bal@herk Herk-de-Stad, Folk on Stage Gooik).

Anouk is een violiste met een achtergrond in klassieke muziek, jazz en folk. Haar veelzijdige en expressieve spel komt tot uiting in bekende projecten zoals Bamako Express, Duo De Schepper-Sanczuk, Broes en het Ghent Folk Violin Project.

Filippo haalt zijn inspiratie uit een breed scala aan muzikale tradities, van Europese volksmuziek tot Zuid-Amerikaanse ritmes. Hij bracht zeven albums uit met eigen composities en treedt op als solist, met het duo Choropo, het trio Maestrale, en samen met singer-songwriter Max Manfredi.

Beide muzikanten zijn ook gepassioneerde docenten. Hun artistieke samenwerking ontstond tijdens de stage voor traditionele muziek in Floreffe (België), waar ze beiden les gaven. Hun concert is een feest van creativiteit en verbondenheid — een reis door rijke klanklandschappen, gedreven door ritme, energie en puur speelplezier.

Anouk is a classically trained violinist with a passion for jazz and folk, making her a dynamic and versatile performer. Her creative energy shines through in acclaimed projects such as Bamako Express, Duo De Schepper-Sanczuk, Broes, and the Ghent Folk Violin Project.

Filippo draws inspiration from a wide range of musical traditions, from European folk to South American rhythms. With seven albums of original music to his name, he performs regularly as a soloist and in groups such as Choropo, Maestrale, and alongside singer-songwriter Max Manfredi.

Both artists are also experienced educators, and their artistic partnership was born during the Floreffe Traditional Music Workshop (Belgium), where they met while teaching. Their concerts are a celebration of creativity and connection — a journey through rich soundscapes, driven by rhythm, energy, and pure musical joy.
