Fighting oneself, just to be free.

Some battles are won, some battles remain,

And some leave their mark long after the pain.

# II — The Way

Maybe the answer was never to run,

But to find a way when all is said and done.

Fear can keep the way out of sight.

Desire can make the wrong way seem right.

Not every shadow needs to disappear,

Sometimes finding the way means facing what's already here.

# III — Making Peace

It's hard to fight what's already inside.

Some things don't belong, and some are here to stay.

For all we know, they may never go away.

So it's time to make peace. It is for the best.

Give everything a place,

and put your mind to rest.
