Everything began for DIVAD (DAVID M) in the 1980s, when he discovered the first sounds of electronic music. Deeply influenced by pioneers such as Front 242, Anne Clark, and Kraftwerk, he quickly developed a passion for this new musical movement.

With the explosion of New Beat, music took center stage in his life: at only 12 years old, he stepped behind the decks and began building an impressive vinyl collection.

Private parties followed one after another, clubs opened their doors to him, and his mixtapes circulated under his first alias, “DJ Maniac.”

• 1997–1999: Resident DJ at L’Extravaganza (Halle)
• 2002–2003: Resident DJ at Studio 54
• 2009: Birth of “Retro Noise,” his weekly show on Radio Vibration, broadcast every Saturday night from 11 p.m. to midnight
• Resident DJ at the City Parade
• 2017 to present: Resident DJ with We Love Retro House

Over the years, DIVAD (DAVID M) has shared the stage with renowned artists such as Roger Sanchez, Laidback Luke, Hardwell, Avicii, Michael Calfan, Marusha, Miss Jaxx, Jam & Spoon, Ken Ishii, WestBam, Dr. Motte, Yves Deruyter, Phi-Phi, Frank Zolex, Pat Mackenzie, Franky Jones, Youri Parker, Furax, Airwave, Milo Savic, and many more.

His journey has taken him to some of the biggest stages and clubs in Belgium and abroad: Fuse, Tour & Taxis, Cherry-Moon, La Rocca, BBC, Arenchi, Zillion, Noxx, Caves de la Chapelle, Scenario (Tao), Younight-Club (Heaven parties)… as well as Val Thorens (La Folie Douce), Ibiza, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Germany, and Morocco.
