As a kid I started tweaking knobs in 1992, from then I was completely hooked on electronic music, back in the days listening to my older brothers new beat and new wave records. Basically from then I've been following the whole beat culture and 90's upcoming clubscene, discovering by the middle of this decade a thing called techno!

Obsessed by DJ skills and until today still embracing as much as possible the analog way of working the DJ desk. wich also means that for me sets aren't auto-synced or prepared at all and basically are a spur of the moment, trying to absorb and reflect the current atmosphere or channel my own mood through the speakers, Total expression I guess.

Oh yeah! Still lovin' the vinyl!

Basically from the age of 16 I started Deejaying on smaller party's from friends and friends from friends, here and there, nothing big but never the less always fun. During the years I got noticed in the Ghent's underground scene and had some great offers and opportunities even outside Belgium, sadly for personal and professional reasons I wasn't always capable to accept. The way of life I guess, right?

Never the less still mixing the decks and remaining very up-to-date, leaving the past for what it is and always searching for those new quality sounds. Trough the years I managed to build up quite a nice collection of analog to digital gear, building my own home studio for recording and producing. The production part is pending though. A part of me is very perfectionistic, almost autistic, so for now the whole technical part of my studio/lab setup is very important . Lately I'm generally focussing on the complete PA and audio part of the production process. Using the computer only as my sequencer and midi clock (some would say: just like the dinosaurs). It's all very interesting and fascinating, but yes, very time consuming and a lot of cables :)

Recently I got asked by a friend to enter the GANK DJ contest, so I did, just for fun, expecting nothing, so just out of curiosity and mainly for some feedback. Amazingly I got selected to the final 5 and above all, I was the publics choice finalist. This gave me the opportunity to play the next GANK event. Talking about a boost of self esteem.
