Founded in 2022, grooving death metal act Death Fury started as a 3-piece consisting of Joshua Omez on guitar, Maxime Laleman on drums and Gregory “Bunne” Bundervoet on bass and vocals.

During their first months of writing music, their sound became stronger as Maxime switched to guitar, Bunne did exclusively vocals. David Oto’o Samba, also known for his bass playing in Oostende punk rock outfit , took over bass duties and Devon Romain joined in on drums.

After a short hiatus of 6 months, and the departure of Devon who joined Belgian groove/progressive metal band Wryngd, Wannes Daneels (ex-Cobracide) took over drumming duties in early 2025. Bunne departed the band during this period, following Tom Verbeke (ex-Hersery, ex-Crystal Methal) to take over vocals.

Having played a modest handful of shows with the newly formed line-up, more are to follow shortly. Over the later seasons of 2025, Death Fury have kept themselves busy writing new material to set the tone for this renewed line-up. As of late 2025, a demo album called , The Bunker Tapes, fuelled by a strong D.I.Y ethos is set to be released at the end of the year.
