Dark Matter is the Audio-Visual Project of Nadav Direktor & Ira Nussbaum.

They met each other in elementary school and started to create music and short films together.

In 2016, Ira and Nadav decided to join forces and combine their love for music and cinema in the Audio-Visual project called “Dark Matter” - a band that creates Electronic/Rock/Pop Music.

In their live shows they project original videos that combine archival footage, animations, stock footage and random clips from the internet to create a Meta-Narative of pop culture that relates to the band’s Theme: Space, Science, movies and true love.

Their debut album was released in 2020 and it is an imaginary soundtrack of an epic space movie that exists in their heads.

In 2021 they were commissioned by the Krakow Jewish Culture Festival to create an original work inspired by the famous polish astronomer, Nicolai Copernicus.

They created a 1 hour Audio-Visual Performance. An electronic-disco opera that celebrates Copernicus’s revelations, Texts and Ideas.
