Daan made a pact before arriving on Earth: to spread love and energy through storytelling in sound, inspiring others to embrace their authentic selves. He invites listeners on a spiritual journey of self-discovery and feels deeply grateful for the creative power entrusted to him.

At 27, Daan, a composer, producer, and DJ, is based in Gentbrugge, Belgium. His musical journey began in 2009 after watching The Matrix. The soundtrack "Clubbed to Death" by Rob Dougan moved him to dust off an old keyboard, and since then, melodies have become his way of expressing raw emotions—feeling the keys rather than understanding them.

Starting in 2025, Daan will release a new story through sound every month on the 22nd under LBL22, a music label and community he co-founded with Kaz. LBL22 is built on authenticity, co-creation, and pure passion. Each story blends moments of melancholy with surges of energy, drawing inspiration from subgenres like psy, groovy, trance, goa, acid, techno, melodic, and minimal.

Beyond artists, Daan is inspired by life experiences, loved ones, and the energy of raves. When not creating, he loves to dance and immerse himself in the moment. His influences include artists like Tiësto, Chlär, VEL, Exit World, Niotech, Sara Landry, Indira Paganotto, Charlotte De Witte, Astrix, Pako Marckx, Area One, Rob Dougan, Yann Tiersen, Frédéric Chopin, Ludovico Einaudi, Hans Zimmer, Worakls, Evgeny Grinko, and Martin Kohlstedt.
